HypnoBirthing Programme

HypnoBirthing helps you and your partner to prepare for the birth of your baby. 

You and your partner will be taught specific self-hypnosis, breathing and relaxation techniques. These will help you to feel relaxed and in control throughout your birthing experience, so your baby can enter this world peacefully and calmly

 

HypnoBirthing is beneficial and equally effective, whether you give birth naturally or by caesarean. It will also help you to deal with any unexpected difficulties in a calmer way.

 

The HypnoBirthing sessions educate you about the physiology and psychology of birthing, so that you can understand what is happening to your body during the stages of labour and birth.

 

The sessions also address any negative thoughts and fears you may have about the birthing experience, empowering you to embrace the process feeling positive, confident and in-control.

You will become more intuitive about your body, and you will be in a better position to make the best decisions for yourself and your baby. 

Outside of the sessions, you will be encouraged to spend time practising the relaxation and visualisation techniques. These will not just give you the opportunity to focus positively on yourself, but they will also help you and your partner bond with your baby.

The positive effects of hypnobirthing continue after the birth, as it is known to help with better sleep patterns, improved feeding and more energy. It helps with the early weeks of parenthood, so you and your partner can embrace this special time feeling happy, calm and relaxed.  

The HypnoBirthing Online Programme is delivered to couples on an individual basis, exclusively tailoring the programme to their needs. 

What You Will Learn

  • An understanding of the female anatomy and how it changes during pregnancy.
  • An understanding of the three stages of the birthing process.
  • Self-Hypnosis to enable you to practise relaxing your body and mind
  • Helpful practical skills for your birthing partner to assist you during pregnancy and the birth
  • Tapping sequences to eliminate any previous or current trauma or fears
  • Calming breathing exercises to give deep inner relaxation
  • Guided visualisation to a safe healing place to help with fears of the birth
  • A meaningful birthing image to assist and encourage natural dilation or a positive caesarean experience

These skills are fully transferable into everyday life and will enable you to bond well with your new-born baby, find breastfeeding (if you decide to do so) enjoyable and effortless and encourage good sleeping patterns for you and baby, allowing you to feel energised and return to your pre-pregnancy weight easily.

What You Will Get From The Sessions

  • You will have MP3s, with six recordings in total that you can use at home to practise relaxation and visualisation techniques taught in session
  • You will have a Success Manual recapping the programme’s main points
  • Your birthing partner will have some handy Worksheets recapping the techniques they will learn in session and will be able to support you in a positive way at the birth
  • You will have a personal journal for you to record your pregnancy and early parenting thoughts daily
  • You and your partner will have a clear idea of what pregnancy and the birthing process entails
  • You will feel confident and excited about the birth of your baby, knowing that you will be able to help yourself during the birthing process to keep calm and relaxed and work intuitively with your perfectly designed body

The 3 hour online programme is delivered over two, 1hr 30minute sessions.
